The Album & PRICES TO WIN!
07/November/2011
Hello there Raiser-fans! Thank you all for joining us in Volta and Winston past weekend, it has been a blast! Unfortunately we got the wrong album-cover on our CDs. We shall stick to our word and promise you a new (and free) party to really release our album. The album is now available at our next shows and online! Quickly check out the Shop-page to order Power Of The Mind!

But there is more! Not only will there be 2 tracks available for download/listening in the coming week. We've also set up a competition with The Amsterdam Dungeons. We can provide the competition prize of a free family ticket (up to 2 adults and 2 children), a signed RAISER T-shirt and a signed POTM-CD if you send us your address, your t-shirt size (don't worry, we'll keep this a secret!) and the answer to the following question: What would you like to write us a song about? The most clever idea will receive the winning ticket, the signed RAISER T-shirt and signed CD! Send it to info@raiserband.nl

Album Release Party and More!
06/September/2011
Update! Volta will open the gates at 8:30 PM!

Welcome back! We have some wonderful news to announce. Everyone probably knows we are working on our debut album, but what you didn't knew is that there will be a release party on the 28th of October! While there is no known time yet (probably around 8 PM) we can assure you that we have a very nice surprise in store. We're playing faster, louder and better than ever before. Including all the new songs from the CD. With Jeffrey, originally just the bassplayer, now also on vocals, Jordy on the drums since the beginning of Raiser, Michiel on his new black lefty-ESP and Iwan with his new amplifier, we'll hit the stages at Volta once more. The last time we played here the sound was absolutely perfect, so Volta was the first choice when we thought where we were going to have our release party. We also invited a second band to open for us. Stay tuned for more information about this one! We also planned a gig for the next day after the party, also in Amsterdam. Located at Winston. The gig is with bands Under Destruction and Burning Horizon. Hope to see you there!

More Studio Updates
03/July/2011
Today another session in the studio. We focused mainly on the guitar solos and still had to record some stuff for Hell's Casino and Stalker (we'll release the tracklist shortly, don't worry about that). Next up are the vocals and then the mixing process with Michel from Peggy51 (our studio engineer). We're getting closer to the release step by step. The releasedate is currently (if everything works out the way we want it) set to somewhere in the end of the month September. For those interested in our progress we uploaded some of the pictures on the Media-page.

Changes & Studio
30/May/2011
There has been another change in line-up. We had to say goodbye to vocalist Sander because of the style in music. We think Sander is an excellent vocalist and I am convinced that he shouldn't have much trouble finding a suited band. Thanks for all the unforgettable moments. As replacement Jeff has been chosen to carry the vocalist flag. There was not a single doubt in anyone's mind that he was the perfect man for the job. With only 2 weeks to go before the studio recordings we have to work really hard on our newest (and fastest) songs. The next repitition will be an extra long session, and also the last one before we dive into the studio.

Band competition MuzyQ
16/February/2011
It has been a while since the last update but we're working hard on our new and first album. We got invited for the metal band competition at MuzyQ Amsterdam and we couldn't say no. Great chance to blow off some steam before we dive into the studio. Make sure you're there on 16th of April because the louder the crowd, the better the score. So bring all your friends if they're up for some loudness. Check out the LIVE-page for any remaining details. Hope to see you there!
